There was one gas station in cities across Wagoner County selling premium gas at the lowest price of $2.52 per gallon in the week ending Jan. 3, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

The average reported price of premium gas across the county was $2.81 per gallon.

GasBuddy reports show that premium gas was available at 15 of the 32 reported gas stations in Wagoner County.

The statewide average price of premium gas in Oklahoma was $2.88 per gallon for the week ending Jan. 3, a decrease from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
