Graduates earn 52 degrees, certificates from the College of the Muscogee Nation

About 55.8 percent of the 52 degrees and certificates handed out by the College of the Muscogee Nation in 2017-18 were to students in area, ethnic, cultural, gender and group studies programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Okmulgee conferred 29 associate's degrees in area, ethnic, cultural, gender and group studies programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in american indian/native american studies. Data shows the school gave out 29 associate's degrees in american indian/native american studies, followed by 9 associate's degrees in casino management and 6 associate's degrees in American Indian/Native American languages, literatures, and linguistics.

The college enrolled 217 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
