Wagoner County ranked sixth in Oklahoma for resident earnings in 2018

Wagoner County ranked sixth among counties in Oklahoma by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Wagoner County residents was $31,139 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 28,748 households with a population of 77,850.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Canadian County with $32,856 per year after adjusting for inflation – $1,717 more than Wagoner County. It had 44,633 households with a population of 136,710.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Greer County with $18,022 per year after adjusting for inflation – $13,117 less than Wagoner County. It had 2,041 households with a population of 5,943.
