Bacone College Men's, Women's Soccer Post Wins Against SWAU

Both Men's and Women's soccer both shut out Southwestern Adventist University on September 21.

Women's Head Coach Jennifer Contreras said, "The warriors captured an exciting first win on the road against SWAU. Our keeper, Jaiden Williams, had a spectacular first shutout of the season denying SWAU any opportunities of scoring. Our team had an invincible defensive line which worked collectively until the last second. Addy Nooner found the back of the net and led the team to victory by scoring her first goal of the season. Our Lady Warriors' competed with heart and are setting a new standard for the future."

Men's Head Coach Philip Di Noia said, "I am extremely proud of both teams. This is the first time in over two years that both the men's and women's soccer programs have posted wins and clean sheets in the same season. Both teams are working hard to improve every day and remain hungry to post as many wins as possible this year. The men have more wins and almost as many goals this season that the previous three seasons combined. I remain confident this is a team just beginning to turn the corner to becoming a consistent, winning program."
