The Women's Basketball team was home November 22nd for a KCAC match-up with the Bethany College Swedes. Going into the match-up the Lady Eagles were 2-3 overall and 1-0 in KCAC play while the Lady Swedes entered to competition 4-3 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
Coming up short, the Lady Eagles lost to the Swedes in an overtime last minute shot 68-67.

Leading the Lady Eagles throughout a majority of the game was Sydnee Schovanec with 20 points scored. Following closely behind Schovanec was River Jeffries (14) and Ty'Najah Mitchell (13).
Defensively, Jess Gilyard was a force to be reckoned with, with 13 rebounds overall, 3 steals, 2 blocks, and 5 assists in only 32 minutes of play.
Having an impressive first half was not enough for the Lady Eagles to maintain the lead and the Lady Swedes came back firing throughout the second half; forcing an overtime and taking control of the game throughout it. Autumn Garrett led the Swedes to victory with 18 points scored.
